What is a decision brief?
A decision brief connects a specific question with relevant evidence and a proportionate response. In Feedsion, you can inspect the available source passages, consider how they apply to your situation, and record Act, Monitor, or Ignore. A missing premise can call for clarification before making a choice.
A brief supports your judgment. A citation tells you where a claim came from; it does not establish that the claim is true, current, or applicable to your business.
From a question to a useful revisit
Frame the question
Write what you are deciding, the constraint that matters, and what would change your mind. Manually shared context is enough to start.
Inspect the evidence
Read the available passages and original sources. Keep reported facts, assumptions, and suggested responses separate. Missing coverage stays visible.
Record your call
Save your choice and why you made it. Monitoring or leaving a decision unchanged can be a useful result.
Set a checkpoint
Return to the original reasoning when a relevant condition changes or a review date arrives. A revisit records what you learned; it does not prove a business outcome.
Questions this workflow is designed for
- Technology: should we evaluate a new AI tool against our current workflow?
- Product: does this external change affect the customer problem we are solving?
- Partnerships: which missing fact would justify a small partner test?
Use the AI tool evaluation guide to define a bounded comparison, or the decision journal template to preserve your reasoning.
How is this different from a news summary?
A news summary organizes what was reported. A decision workflow also keeps the question, relevant company constraints, your judgment, and the reason to revisit. Feedsion is designed around that ongoing record. It does not promise complete market coverage or better outcomes than another tool.
Company context stays under your control
Supported Pro connections let you select records and fields. Connecting an account does not automatically approve AI use. Personal reasoning, team sharing, exports, and supported external writes have separate permissions. Marking Act does not send a message or change a CRM.
